At Groundd Tainan Messina is a Senior Programme Officer with extensive experience in international conservation and programme management. Her work involves designing and implementing high-impact projects aimed at improving organizational efficiency, capacity building, and sustainable development. She has a deep expertise in cross-functional collaboration, data management systems, and plays a crucial role in coordinating with stakeholders to ensure project success, providing leadership on strategy, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. 

Tainan has 13 years + experience with Biodiversity Conservation, environmental policy and multilateral agreements. She is an interdisciplinary conservation scientist working with research and science-policy interface. Also interested in the intersections of human rights, gender equality, climate change impacts and food systems - and how they are integrated in policy and decision-making, at national and global levels.
